The Word of God Expounded by George G. Delo
Personal
Testimony
George Delo's personal experience of sanctification
and entering the rest of God.
Why
is Sanctification Important to the Christian Experience?
Sanctification is one of the most misunderstood
doctrines in the Bible and yet at the same time, it is the central theme of
the New Covenant in Christ. Without this experience many Christians are
being overcome by sin and departing from God.
Are
You Robbing God?
Are you robbing God by living for yourself? Are you
using God’s body for your own pleasure? Are you depriving God of using His
bought and paid for body for His own purposes?
How
Many Times Must We Die?
We have been erroneously taught to overcome sin by
willfully controlling it until it no longer controls us. But is this what
the scriptures teach? Are we to die daily to sin? Are we to die to
individual sins?
The
Power of Satan
The power of Satan is sin. As long as we have a nature of sin within us,
Satan has power over us. Satan had no power over the Lord because there was
no sin in Him.
Put
an Axe to the Root
If you want to destroy something, you must destroy its
root. As long as the root remains, sooner or later it will produce a shoot
and the shoot will produce the fruit.
Are
We Missing Something?
“Many are really seeking to be justified in sin.
They ask God to pardon them, but they refuse to be sanctified; they seek Christ
as their justification only. They cleave to their sins, they are living in their
sins, and they seek to be justified rather than sanctified – indeed, they refuse
to be sanctified at all.” Charles Finney
Be
Ye Perfect!
"Well, nobody's perfect!" How many times have you
heard someone say that? And yet that is exactly what God commands us to be — "be ye therefore
perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
In
Name or Relationship?
How many Christians have come to Christ with the same
attitude, wanting His name without the responsibilities that come with it?
How many want merely the removal of God's wrath and the assurance of
salvation without a true relationship of intimacy?
Our
Rightful Place
If the church is to become what God has purposed it to
be, there must first be a reversal of mind-set within the body of
Christ. The Lord must be given His rightful place of exaltation in our lives
and we must take our rightful place under Him.
Are
You Slave or Free?
Many Christians today do not understand the concept of
true Christian liberty and confuse license with freedom. They have the idea
that to be free is to have the liberty to do as they please without
consequence.
Where's
the Glorious Church?
If the church is to become the glorious church of
God's presence it must have a restoration of the righteousness of God in its
midst. The foundation of righteousness and justice must be restored for the
place of God's throne.
Beware
False Prophets!
Jesus warned us over and over that the last days would bring out a multitude
of false prophets and teachers. The main characteristic of these false
brethren would be carnality, ‘those who walk after the flesh and indulge
in the lust of polluting passion.' (2 Peter 2:10).
The
Day of the Lord
He warned them that just going
through the motions of worship without a pure heart toward God would not do.
God despises hypocritical worship, honoring Him with our lips when our
hearts are far from Him!
Jewels
of the Lord
His desire is to make us a showcase of His glory to
the nations. He wants to make us so beautiful that all would desire Him. "You shall also be a crown of glory
in the hand of
the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God" (Isaiah
62:3).
Restoration
of the Tabernacle
I believe that we are living in the days of
fulfillment of God's plan for His creation. The church is standing on the
threshold of its divine destiny in God.
Messages
of a Deeper Life by Various Authors
Various authors give their testimonies of entering His
rest and also expound on the doctrine of sanctification.
The
Word of God
The supreme importance of God's word cannot be fully stated and yet it is
the greatest lack in the lives of God's people robbing them of His greatest
benefits.
False
Prophets and Teachers
We need proper discernment when receiving ministers in the body of Christ.
The church is being deceived by wolves in sheep's clothing.
Does
Being Forgiven Make You a Christian?
There is s difference between forgiveness and remission of sins. Israel had
forgiveness but it couldn't regenerate them.
Church
Reformation
The church is in dire need of reformation to bring it back to its proper
foundation in Jesus Christ.
Time
for a Revolution
The Holy Spirit is gathering together the true Ekklesia of God to
reveal His glory upon this earth.
